Painting 476 mm x 624mm, Framed in White Wood 596mm x 754mm
I laid out the composition in black charcoal, fixed it, and then carefully painted it in bright acrylic colours to the charcoal edge of each of the painting's components. I then oil paint over the top again to the edge, keeping ribbons of the bright underlay showing through to give the composition life, depth and interest synonymous with my style and across all my ‘Fabulously Floral’ pieces.
